The Lunatec V3 is a portable, 12VDC powered two channel microphone preamplifier with a built-in analog to digital converter. The unit is designed for anyone that needs high quality portable audio recording gear and provides the same transparent, high fidelity audio performance as the rest of the Grace Design line, while being portable enough to fit in a shoulder bag.
An ultra-low distortion, 24-bit/192kHz analog to digital converter is featured with outputs that include AES/EBU and coaxial S/PDIF. Both single and dual-wire 176.4 and 192kHz AES/EBU modes are provided via a pair of XLR connectors, which enable connection to high sample rate dual-wire digital recording systems as well as single-wire systems. Wordclock output is provided for synchronizing external equipment to the V3.
The Lunatec V3 is also equipped with an analog noise shaping dither circuit, or ANSRTM, which can be applied for ultra-high quality word length reduction when sending signals to a 16-bit digital recorder.
