The Sony HKSR-5002 Digital Betacam Processor Board is an optional accessory decoding board for SRW-5000 and SRW-5500 VTRs. When installed, it offers the ability to play back Digital Betacam tapes, while enabling the deck to output this standard definition signal in composite analog, SD, and 1080i HD. This board intrinsically meets the high demands of high profile video operations often required by HDCAM/HDCAM SR studios, digital mobile units and uplink trucks.
When the system is operated in 4:4:4 mode, upconversion of the output to HD signals are possible in 1080i and 720p (depending on the system setting)
