The Petroff P551 is a Matte Box System accepting 1 5x5 filter stage. This 1 filter stage system includes a top flag for light control. This is a fully modular, no-tool assembly system where you can add or remove stages or adjust system components in seconds without the need for tools.
Filter Stages
All filter stages rotate 360 degrees independently, but in order to operate comfortable with polarizing filters one or two stages could be blocked from rotation. The snap on system allows the user to easily remove or add filter stages.
5x5 Size
The 5x5 size works with external lens diameters up to 136mm.
Mounting
Mounting to internal focus lenses is accomplished by clamping to the front barrel or adding optional lens supports systems.
Freedom of Movement
The design of this matte box allows total freedom of movement of the filters in the horizontal and vertical plane.
Top Flag
A top flag offers excellent light control and folds to fit into the matte box opening for storage.
