Pluggo 3.5 from Cycling 74 is a collection of over one hundred effect plug-ins with categories that include delays, filters, pitch effects, distortion, granulation, spectral effects, modulators, multi-channel effects, synthesizers, audio routing, reverb and dynamics and visual display. Available for Audio Units, VST, or RTAS host application, these elegant and immediately effective instruments and plug-ins were created using the Max/MSP audio programming environment.
A powerful audio processing system and plug-in development tool allows the Pluggo plug-ins to work together behind the back of a sequencer. For example, the PluggoBus system lets plug-ins send up to eight channels of audio to each other, exploding the limitation of one or two outputs per plug-in in audio sequencers. Pluggo also sports a set of "Modulators" plug-ins that mess with the parameters of other plug-ins in interesting and unusual ways.
