question
Please clarify the capacity of this system. The description says it stores 200 cardboard-mounted slides and also holds 1200 cardboard-mounted 35 mm slides. ???
The listing is confusing. But, I think the 200 cardboard-mounted slide capacity refers to the number of slides which each slide box can hold. The whole system has six slide boxes, so the total capacity comes to 1200 cardboard-mounted slides. My experience is that the six box system may be able to hold 1200 cardboard-mounted slides, if you're willing to pack them in pretty tightly. Which may be fine if you're simply storing them. But I find that makes it quite inconvenient to retrieve individual slides, so opt to settle for about 1100 or so. Hope that helps.
