Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good deal For the money, not bad. Considering it's 1/8 the cost of Zacuto's shoulder pad. As it is just a hard plastic unit, I spent an additional $30 for some pads by Ikan that I screwed into the unit to add comfort and stability as the plastic is slick and will slip off of your shoulder. Now it feels good, looks good, doesn't slide & it was still very affordable.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Non Professional, cheap build quality This product feels cheap, it can only be mounted on the right hand side, I had to stop using it as I thought it might break while I was filming, I think if you use a very small and light weight handy cam then it may be okay for home use. I guess you get what you pay for.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cancer This thing makes no sense and actually hurts to use. One of the plastic wing nuts digs into your neck. I hate myself a little more every time I look at this plastic piece of garbage.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cheap but effective shoulder pad I use this with a rig using a Zacuto Z-finder on a mirrorless camera's LCD and this pad gives the perfect offset for proper eye alignment. I feel because the horizontal offset is perfect, there would never be any need to adjust that, but it is important to offer vertical adjustment, which this unit does perfectly. I do wish that a few things were different, though, I would have paid more for a unit made out of aluminum and accepted the weight increase, with threaded holes for mounting accessories. Right now I'm using Velcro and that works well enough, but is not quite as sturdy as machine screws. I also would have liked to seen a purpose designed pad provided, I ended up using the Ikan pads as others have done, that works well enough, but something better and nicer could have been made. The competing products that are metal do have rod systems, but some of those lack the vertical adjustments needed or are simply too big for a mirrorless / DSLR rig, this is the perfect size. It's just unfortunate that it is also a budget product, but if your primarily looking for a cheap solution, then it's perfect.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok for the price Not so comfortable after a few hours, but as part of the whole shoulder rig, I am really satisfied.
