Rated 5 out of 5 by from No RC Base Here !!! This paper is my favorite inkjet media . It enhances my ink usage, provides outststanding color fidelity and feels like the double weight photo paper from a bygone era! The roll allows for gang printing and panorama formatting.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from My comparison against the finest papers I used Pearl for years without doing comparison tests to other Hahnemulhe Fine Art Papers. But, was I ever disapointed when I found out I was using the wrong paper. 1) This paper bronzes (where some inks lay down in such a way they look like it was an after thought) and makes the print look like it was printed on an inkjet printer. 2) The pearl shine is destracting when you look at a print. It makes the print look cheap - my feelings. 3) In comparison to my favorites which are William Thurner and then second is Mussem Etching. When you walk by or look at a print on the wall or in professional competition the sharpness and the fact there is no glare but deep and lovely colors and a wonderful presentation per the papers makes a big difference to me. You can not tell that ink was layed on the prints even in different lighting. They look like paintings. In addition there are no optical brighteners in either William Turner of Museum Etching. The papers feel like art paper. 4) I have spent hours on trying to find a replacement paper that I can roll feed so that I can use the paper for any size job (printer width restricted). William Turner I can not get in 17 rolls. Therefore, Museum Etching is my second choice. All papers mentioned are fine papers. I tried to let you know what I have seen and feel. I hope this helps you in your art paper search.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Consistant Quality Hahnemuhle Fineart Pearl Paper has shown to be a great photo paper. The texture, finish and weight are perfect for a myriad of uses. The pearl finish is advantageous because it is forgiving and can take a little handling without a problem with the image. From dry mounting to sitting behind a mat in a frame this paper works well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Accurate Color Reproduction My clients are thrilled with the results achieved using the Hahnemuhle Pearl paper, correct ICC profiles (provided by Hahnemuhle), and printed using my Epson 9880. They were skeptical that such vivid colors and blending were possible using inkjet technology over silver halide-based printing. ...

Fine Art Pearl is definitely my favorite as it it the most versatile among Hahnemuehle's Fine Art papers. I use it for color prints as well as for Black&White prints.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Quality Inkjet printing brilliant color landscape or macro, Hahnemuhle quality is unexcelled. This paper is not as pearlescent as expected, therefore, I suggest purchasing sample paper if available from Hanemuhle.
