Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid stand that holds a lot We use the product to mount really heavy (40 lbs) of research gear. It is rock solid, and does the job perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile Stand I like how I can use the Rocky Mountain leg to place the stand on uneven areas or stairs and still have my equipment secure. For my uses I use this primarily for mounting a Jr Boom from Mathews for lighting motorcycles. It works flawlessly and I have not had any tip overs or worries. I do place cut tennis balls on the feet for surfaces that may scratch like tile or hard wood floors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very rugged and stable for the money I've used this stand with a 1K at maximum extension and it performed perfectly. I think it strikes the right balance regarding weight. It's not too heavy to carry around, but heavy enough that is stays stable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, Big, Durable. First of all this is a big stand. I truly believe it will hold the advertised weight. I bought this to use with an Avenger Boom. I feel like it supports the weight and would fit and work for nearly any boom stand. Weird stuff 1) the little handle that screws on the 5/8 pop up pin on the top kinda gets in the way of my boom placement. I think if it was just threaded slightly different then this wouldnt be an issue. 2) The leg that slides out isnt exactly what imagined. I feels like it would hold a fully loaded stand but if you think about the fact that its the leg that extends that means its the lowest leg. So on stairs its the downhill leg. I would much rather have two extending legs so my downhill legs are supported by two brackets in stead of the single. 3) legs feel a little janky. I think that is just a matter of the fact that this thing is put together with bolts. Not screws, bolts. So its insanely sturdy but it also has some clang and wiggle to it that disappears with a load. All together its a good stand. I am still debating on swapping out for the stand with out the combo top as i have almost no use for that.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Built tough I took on chance on these instead of buying the regular combo stands that cost considerably more. On paper both combo stands hold nearly the same weight. I still wasn't convinced until they arrived. I'm glad to say that the digital combo stands are as solid as the regular ones. Not much else to say.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The last stand you will ever buy A name you can trust and the durability to withstand the test of time. This 11' stand is a lifetime investment. While cameras and lens change and become outdated this product will never be obsolete.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just as strong as the Hollywood version This is basically the same as any steel Hollywood combo stand. I plan to purchase several of these for my overheads and hmi's.
