Bosch DB06C1025D2 Overview

The Bosch Micro DiBos DB06C1025D2 is a 6-channel DVR suitable for a wide range of commercial surveillance applications including retail centers, industrial facilities and transport hubs. The DVR accepts up to 6 analog security cameras and up to 8 additional network cameras or servers.

Both analog and network cameras can be accessed on-site or from a remote Internet location for viewing and for pan, tilt and zoom control, with a sophisticated password system restricting access to authorized users. Additionally, this DVR supports Bosch's exclusive Bilinx technology, allowing an operator to send various communication signals including PTZ control to wired analog cameras from an off site location.

In addition to a main 250GB storage drive, this unit uses a built-in DVD burner to store short-term event footage for quick retrieval and transfer. The DVR can be programmed to start recording based on various factors, such as time and date or when triggered by external sensors. This helps in conserving hard drive resources and most importantly, saves valuable time when trying to quickly locate a particular video footage among many hours of recorded material.

Accepts 6 Analog Cameras Plus 8 Network Devices
The unit accepts up to 6 analog cameras and up to 8 IP devices such as network cameras or digital encoders. In addition to Bosch MPEG4 network units, DiBos can receive JPEG images from network cameras from numerous manufacturers. Analog cameras are recorded at speeds up to 15 IPS per channel while digital devices are recorded at speeds up to 30 IPS per network unit. Analog cameras can be viewed on 2 spot monitor outputs in full or multi-image mode, while digital cameras are viewed on a local or networked PC monitor.
Fast and Convenient Access to Images from Anywhere
Bosch designed this unit so that an operator has quick access to cameras for viewing and control from any location. To this end, they equipped this unit with an Ethernet connection and various remote control ports. These allow an operator to connect to any Internet PC and instantly bring up any or all cameras for viewing and control. Each camera display includes a number of icons offering important information about that camera, including, time and date, location, camera name and names of devices attached to it such as sensors and motion detectors.
Remote PTZ Control with Billinx Support
An operator can use an Internet browser to control the pan, tilt and zoom functions of an analog PTZ camera equipped with a remote control protocol or any network type PTZ camera. Additionally, this unit supports Bosch's unique Billinx technology which uses the standard video cable to transmit bi-directional communication signals. This allows a client to check status, change settings, control pan, tilt and zoom, and even update firmware from virtually anywhere along the video cable.
Built-In DVD Burner
In addition to the main 250GB storage hard drive, this unit features a built-in DVD burner to store short-term event footage for quick retrieval and transfer. A number of USB ports are available for further storage expansion.
Quick and Easy Search and Playback Functions
This unit provides powerful search and playback operation with navigation functions offered in a tree structure. An operator can do a search based on various factors, including camera number, recording date and time or alarm and motion detection events.
Programmable Recording with Image Transfer
Recording can be programmed to begin based on a particular date and time, alarm events, or when triggered by an external sensor. Recorded footage or messages can be automatically directed to a designated alarm monitoring location. This saves valuable time and hard drive resources when trying to locate a crucial piece of video among hours of recorded material.
Scalable GUI
Multiple DiBos units can be daisy chained, allowing a security manager to view live and recorded images from any camera on a single PC or DiBos system from a remote location.
