The JVC HMVNC20-550 is a complete network camera package containing the VN-C20U IP camera, 5-12mm lens, weatherproof housing and wall mount and with the addition of a power supply is ready for outdoor installation out of the box.
Camera
High Quality IP Conversion
Video is encoded using an innovative interpolation method, resulting in outstanding picture quality, equivalent to images produced by a conventional progressive scan imager.
Hybrid Camera Function
In addition to being a full fledged IP camera for viewing over the Internet, the VN-C20U features a standard analog video output for connection to a conventional TV or VCR. Unlike other cameras with this feature, this camera produces analog video at a high resolution of 480 lines, making it a truly hybrid camera.
Power over Ethernet (PoE)
POE transmits power over the standard Ethernet cable, making it possible to install the camera in areas where running standard power cables is impractical or impossible. Another advantage of PoE, is its ability to keep the camera operating at the event of a local power failure.

Motion Detection
A built-in motion detection function, configurable for area, alerts an operator to suspicious activities and can also be used to trigger recording to a DVR.
Easy Day/Night Function
When the Day/Night function is activated, the camera is capable of producing visible images in light levels as low as 0.4 lux.
Alarm I/O Ports
In addition to its motion detection function, this camera accepts a number of external sensors to trigger alarms or to activate devices following an alarm event.

Built-In Heater & Blower
A built-in heater and blower keep the camera protected from adverse weather conditions.
Integrated Sunshield
A built-in sunshield effectively protects the camera from harsh sunlight.
Easy to Install
The housing comes pre-wired for 24 VAC operation while the camera ships pre-focused according to the lens specifications, making installation quick and easy.
