The Bosch VIPXDA is an ultra compact single channel video and audio decoder capable of converting digital signals coming over a network into a standard analog signal recognizable by conventional NTSC or PAL video equipment like a VCR or TV. The unit is capable of decoding 4 video streams at the same time, allowing an operator to view up to 4 cameras on one screen. The decoder also features a VGA connection for superior quality viewing on a large PC monitor or projector (in full screen mode only).
Decodes Video and Audio
A single stream of audio is decoded along with the video allowing bi-directional audio communication. With its built-in amplifier there's no need for an amplified microphone or speaker.
Ultra Compact
Only the size of a cigarette packet, the decoder is easy to install in tight places even inside a small housing if necessary. When used in conjunction with a video encoder, data can be sent and received entirely over the network without the need for a PC. An optional rack mount kit is available for installing 5 of these units in a standard 19" rack (VIPRMK1HU).
Single or Quad Stream Decoder
The VIPXDA is capable of decoding 4 video streams at the same time, allowing an operator to view images in full screen or all 4 cameras on one quad screen. Bosch's VIDOS management software can be used to control the viewing modes from a remote network location.
VGA Output
A VGA out port offers superior quality viewing on a large VGA monitor or projector. VGA video is displayed in full screen only.
Alarm and Relay Connectors
Various sensors can be attached to trigger alarms or to activate devices like locking or unlocking a door following an event.
