Kurzweil PC1SE Overview

The PC1SE from Kurzweil is a professional performance controller keyboard that delivers the power of the PC1X, but with 76 fully weighted keys in a brushed aluminum housing. This makes the PC1SE extremely rugged and portable, perfect for use on the road. The PC1SE offers a wide variety of high-quality samples, including a triple-strike piano, several drum kits, and vocals. Both the Orchestral and Classic Keys sound ROM expansions have been preinstalled to provide you with an even larger sound library.

In addition to the wide sound library, the PC1SE offers an equally impressive array of effects. Using the same technology found in the award-winning KSP8 processor, the PC1SE provides multiple reverbs, delays, choruses, flangers, and more with the highest quality standards. The PC1SE is also a full-featured MIDI controller that has in, out, and thru connectors, as well as multiple overlapping zones and assignable switches and knobs; perfect for working with external sequencers and other equipment in a live or studio setting.

Vast Sound Library
Precise, realistic sound samples for 648 factory programs, including the triple-strike piano, several drum kits, and vocals from Take 6.
Expansion ROMs Preinstalled
Both the Orchestral and Classic Keys ROM expansions have been included standard in the PC1SE to offer an even greater range of tones.
Outstanding Effects
With the same technology as the award-winning KSP8 processor and K26 series keyboards, the PC1SE offers full, rich effects including reverbs, choruses, delays, flangers, rotary speakers, compressors and more.
Full MIDI Control
MIDI in, out, and thru connectors, as well as overlapping zones, switch and pedal inputs, and assignable switches and knobs provide full control for external sequencers and other equipment.
Arpeggiator
The full-featured MIDI arpeggiator has multiple latch modes, selectable play order, and velocity, tempo, duration, and sync functions.
Standard Outputs
Two 1/4" TRS analog outputs are provided for connecting to standard audio equipment. A 1/4" headphone output is also included.
LCD Display
A 2 x 20 character LCD with adjustable contrast displays vital information.
