Cheap construction

I attempted to solder cable to pins, but metal in the pins wouldn't accept solder very well. The heat to melt solder from my pencil iron heated the pin but melted the plastic isolator and pin migrated through.

These XLR connectors with chuck-type cable clamp are much easier to assemble and are more reliable than the traditional XLR. We use 3, 4, 5 and 7 pin XLRs in our products and the NCxMXX is the only model we trust.

Great Product!

These Neutrik connectors are easy to solder and are designed to reassemble afterwards with ease. I highly recommend you salvage your XLR cables and make them like new again with Neutrik connectors.
