30x Optical Zoom Lens

PhotoShot Digital Still Camera
The PhotoShot digital still camera feature lets consumers snap digital still in 640 x 480 resolution. And thanks to its IEEE-1394 PC interface, the PV-GS29 is ready for a variety of multimedia applications; it can even serve as a Web camera for home videoconferencing.
Progressive PhotoShot Mode
This feature helps to eliminate fuzziness by capturing the image data to SD Card and storing it in two separate field memories. The two images of the exact same moment are then combined -- with no time lag -- to producing images that are of better quality than standard recorded stills.
Cinema Mode
The PV-GS29 enables you to record video in wide screen mode, giving you a 16:9 aspect ratio. When played back on a television, the result is dramatic looking cinema-like movies at home.
Picture-in-Picture
Picture-in-Picture lets the user insert a previously taken digital still image into the video you're recording. The still image is taken using the PhotoShot feature and appears on the right side of the video you are recording. The video and miniaturized still shot then appear together during playback.
RapidFire Consecutive PhotoShot
When pressing the PhotoShot button, digital stills can be recorded in approximately 0.07 seconds intervals until the PhotoShot button is released, or 16 pictures are recorded.
Built-in LED Light
A built-in LED light can be switched on to illuminate subjects within a couple meters of the camcorder in low-light shooting situations.
