question

does it work with sony a6300? i need a mic for interviewing people standing in front of the camera while the mic is on the camera, is this the right mic for me?
Asked by: Jonathan H.
It should work as long as you have a place to plug it into your camera. You will also need to have a shoe on your camera to slide the base of the mic into and then you screw it down into place. My video camera did not have the shoe so I purchased an adapter that I could put on my tripod with the camera and it worked out quite well! This is a great mic!

Is there an aftermarket or replacement shock ...

Is there an aftermarket or replacement shock mount that works with this microphone?
Asked by: Robert
There is not an aftermarket shock mount for this mic. I would recommend contacting the manufacturer, Rode, directly at www.rodemic.com to request the part.
