The Lumedyne HRF1 Ring Flash works on almost all Lumedyne Power Packs. It has 12 LED modeling lights that have a 20' range, for focusing and previewing in the viewfinder prior to exposure.

This ring flash is extemely efficient. In tests, a lens aperture of f/8 was used successully, @ 200 ISO, @ only 12 watt/seconds, from a distance of 4 - 5 feet.

This ring flash features Lumedyne electronics and flashtube in a Hensel designed reflector and assembly.
Sturdy universal camera mount, lightweight plastic body
Coiled pack to head cord extends from 3 - 7 feet.
The LED modeling lights put out a little less than 25 watts tungsten equivalent, but use less than half of the battery energy as a 25 watt modeling light.

Note:As of late August, 2006, Lumedyne has not confirmed compatibility with the #068 and the Action Packs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lovely results, but more than a handful! I really love the light produced by this ring flash. It has given new life to my portraiture and to my macro work. I only wish the handle didn't protrude from the bottom so prominently (or that it could be repositioned and/or removed to facilitate easier tripod work and handholding.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ring Flash for Fashion? The item is expensive, but I did need it for outdoor work. I used it at one of Vegas dry lake, the images from a ring light is great for fashion type of a image. For indoor work, I just used a Alien Bees Ring Flash, it is self contain and it is much cheaper then the Lumedyne. Both will give out the same type of light.
