It makes the mixer rack-mountable

The extension panel with the huge billboard, Soundcraft logo looks okay, albeit sideways, but the execution leaves details to be desired. I mounted the extension on the right side of my mixer, near the LR Master faders. That side now slightly dips down in the rack, due to the design of these rack-ears, and how they're not centered. My mixer is lopsided and looks quite janky in my new rack. I need to rig some more support for the extension panel's side, due to my O.C.D. The paint job on these rack ears put the mixer's finish to shame though. The rack ears' paint has metallic sparkle glitter flakes in the paint, while the mixer is just plain colored, so they don't exactly match, but that's fine. I'm very happy that my mixer lives safely in the rack, but the holes aren't in even numbered holes. This would normally not matter, and it shouldn't, but I've attached SKB's AV8 shelf over it, so I had to go up one more hole, to share a hole with my Furman mounted above it - otherwise I would have had to drill more holes in these rack ears to accommodate the shelf. That's not a knock against Soundcraft though, as they really shouldn't care if their ears work with other brand's accessories, but I just wanted to point that out.

Although it's not pictured, kit also comes with the panel that fills in the space (because the mixer is smaller than 19).
