The Miranda DVC-120PAG is a camera mounted media converter; it outputs standard definition SDI and IEEE1394 digital signals and supports composite analog video signals. Various audio signals are supported including embedded, analog, AES/EBU and audio within the DV codec. This model was designed for Panasonic cameras.
Camera Mount
The DVC-120PAG mounts to PagLok type mount on the converter allowing for Panasonic camera connection.
Aspect Ratio
Aspect ratio conversion allows a 16:9 image to be viewed in 4:3 letterbox and recropping and resizing features are available to the user.
Embedded Audio
Embedded audio can be utilized by accessing the SDI output port with camera audio embedded.
DV Support
Such functions as DV device control can be accessed through the IEEE1394 port.
Metadata
Metadata displays information such as time code, record dated, format, and personal information for On Screen Display and output through RS-232 for PC and PDA use.
Time Code
Various time code applications can be utilized including but not limited to SD SDI, LTC and DV time code.
