The D-Link DCS-900 is a compact and stylish network camera perfect for low cost home or office monitoring. Setup and operation is quick and easy. Simply attach the camera to the network and you can view its images from anywhere in the world just by logging on to a standard Internet browser. The included software will also allow you to capture images to a hard drive, view multiple cameras on a single screen and set up motion based recording.
Built-In Web Server
The camera connects directly to the network without requiring a local PC. Streaming video can be viewed from virtually anywhere on the planet simply by logging on to any Java enabled web browser. There's also no need to recall a string of numbers as this camera can be given an easy-to-remember domain name simply by signing up to one of many free Dynamic DNS Internet providers.
Bundled Network Software
Included with the camera is D-Link's proprietary IPView Lite management software, incorporating a number of features not available using a standard Internet browser. With this program, a user can view up to 4 cameras on one screen and select any camera to stream its video to a server over the network in the AVI format. A user can also program any camera to start capturing images at a specific date and time, or when motion is detected. This will make it much easier to locate images by having the ability to do a search based on those factors.
