    Savage 63151 reviews

Multiple Polevault System (12.6' Width) is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 39.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Came broken, B&H fixed problems When the Polevault system arrived it was missing a rubber stop for a roll support bracket, and another rubber stop was cracked. B&H corrected the problem and sent two new roll support brackets. I thought this would be a quick fix as the top piece appeared to come off after loosening a screw...not so fast. This turned into problem. After consulting B&H, who contacted the manufacturer, their original solution was to force the end off which took a lot more force than I thought. After finally getting it off and the new parts installed it works good and is nice to have several backdrops up at once. B&H was great, the product is good but shouldn't have come broken!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not impressed I ordered this stand thinking it would be a standard 12' wide stand. But come to find out that only ONE bar is 12' wide and the other 2 bars are 9' wide. Which forces you to use all three at 9' wide if you want them all to be on the stand. The bars are also pretty flimsy. Not loving this item. But if you only need a stand that's 9' wide then it will work for you. (However standard muslin background are 10' wide.)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Crashed down on models head!!! Like the previous review...I was about to start a photoshoot when all of a sudden the one end came crashing down. A roll of BG paper hit my model in the head. Luckily she was ok. Upon inspection, the plastic collar that holds the tightening knobs cracked. Buy another brand. It is not safe. Especially if you have multiple rolls.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lets review! About me. I usually only buy the best and usual do well with my choices. I usually think long term This stand is just ok for the price at 220 its about a mid range price. (3) 9foot rods (1) 12foot rod. Read whats in the box review always!! Comes with 2 stands 4 Rods, yes 4 crossbars and they are not all the same in diameter. The thicker of the 4 rods is heavier in gauge. The other 3 slowly become smaller in gauge for each rod. Why? Maybe to save weight? who knows. There is little sagging so not to bad. This is way too heavy to lug around anyways, so it should of stayed the same gauge. It comes with 4 additional end clips so the rods can rest on them. It uses gravity to secure the rod to the clip. The clips are all metal so thats good! The vertical holder for the screw in fastener is plastic so you'll need to use the last clip that holds the last rod to help stop the vertical bar from slipping down. Because those end clips are metal it works perfect. Honestly it works better as a single roll or Muslin holder than a 3 holder. The foot print is 3 feet or 36inches in diameter. People, get large sands bags regardless! Save space add the weight to add safety unlike the model below accident. Test it as if your own kids would be under it before using it!! Mine came in a box wrapped in bubble wrap. No Instructions No Case. Black color is great but may show stratches a little more but who cares! The only Con I see is the plastic connectors. You dont need to tighten the thumb screws down!! use the ALL mental clip to secure it, you'll be fine! If you over tighten it you'll risk of if cracking that plastic body. Again use that metal clip that holds the bottom rod and it will secure it just fine. Happy Photoshoot!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Addition to Any Studio Love the product, allows you to set up multiple seamless backgrounds. I've chosen black, medium gray (which can be blown out to pure white with focused lighting), and green screen for video. I would say that the only thing I would warn users and potential buyers, the bars that hold the seamless rolls in place are not secured firmly, and can jump off the stand if not handled with care. A pully system would be ideal to be able to pull up and lower the seamless rolls (I believe B&H has an add on, otherwise you are dealing with a headache to lower and raise the seamless. Clamps are a good option to hold things in place, as the seamless has a tendency to unfurl with use). Otherwise, the unit itself is wonderful, and any features that are lacking have easy workarounds/hacks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from NICE AND STURDY Nice and sturdy enough for my studio. I don't need to bring it around for shoots outside my studio so I don't know how long it would last that way. But for what I need it (video interviews) it's perfect. It looks really nice and adds some fanciness to the space :) . Before purchasing it I needed both backgrounds and a white screen to preview old super-8 movies that my clients want to incorporate in the films I make. So I loaded one white paper backdrop along with two colors for backgrounds on my Multiple Polevault System. The white roll of paper works great as a projection screen!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good and bad This is fantastic for children because you can quickly pull down a different roll and keep shooting. I love it. It has two small pitfalls: it is not very tall (so for portraits of adults, I need to use my other stand), and it is a little difficult for one person to set up. Overall, I am very happy to have purchsed this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Godsend Easy to set up, use, and take down. Great for using cloth, paper, or both at the same time. I don't know how I took pictures without it. We ordered one for the office, when I saw how great this product was, I bought one for my personal use.Great value for the money.Bravo
