The EP84 from SM Pro Audio features eight individual channels of professional quality microphone pre-amplification in a solid 2RU rack-mountable chassis that meets the demands of the home and professional studio. The unit is the perfect front end for computer audio systems, stand-alone hard disk recorders, or just about any other analog or digital workstation.
Each channel features its own level control, 20dB pad, phantom power, low-cut (high-pass) filter, phase reverse and LED peak level indicator. Eight combo connector inputs are provided on the front panel while balanced XLR and unbalanced phone connectors are available on the rear panel. Inserts are also provided for each channel for integration of additional outboard equipment such as noise gates, expanders and compressors.
