I have used this on a Canon XL-H1 to take photographs of insects. It preserves the high definition which simple close-up lenses do not, and it allows me to use the zoom function of the camera's lens. The quality is as good or better than using Canon micro lenses in the adapter. The plastic mount is a bit of a disappointment; I wonder how long those plastic threads will last But overall, this is a very useful lens for a biologist.

Can this be used on a Sony RX10 iv? Anyone have experience with this setup? Seems the perfect solution since both use a 72mm connection, etc. Thanks!
Asked by: Jeff
This does offer a 72mm connection. While we are not aware of the specific results, this will physically attach to the RX10 IV.
