The Digitech RP150 Guitar Modeling Processor is a compact guitar multi-effect unit that takes extensive modeling capabilities and makes them fast and intuitive to use.
The RP150 starts with 17 amp models and 12 cabinet models that utilize Digitech's Component Modeling technology. Component Modeling takes amp modeling a step further by capturing the amp, its various gain stages, the composition and size of the cabinet, the type of pickup being played, and more. This gives a much more realistic depiction of amp performance than amp modeling alone.
A comprehensive array of 39 effects can be applied manually, or you can dial in one of the 30 preset effects chains. In combination with the modeled amps, this represents a vast range of tonal possibilities.
The USB connection on the back of the RP150 allows not only for computer-based editing of onboard presets, but also for two-way audio streaming (2 streams up, 2 streams down), making the RP150 an excellent interface for direct recording.
An integrated drum machine with 60 preset rhythm patterns, a chromatic tuner, a control pedal input, and stereo outputs complete the picture to make the RP150 a comprehensive solution for practice, recording, and performance.
