The Mace DVR-56MR is a 4-channel digital video recorder with an integrated 5.6" color LCD monitor, suitable for small to medium sized surveillance applications. The unit records in the MPEG-4 format at 7.5 FPS per channel and includes an 80GB removable hard drive, installed in one of its two internal hard drive bays.
Camera images can be viewed in full screen one at a time or all 4 cameras on one screen in quad mode. Switching between cameras can be done manually or by programming the unit to auto switch at timed intervals or when motion is detected.
Equipped with a standard Ethernet connection, this DVR can be accessed for viewing and control from a remote Internet or Intranet location. An operator can also use a PC with a network connection to operate the pan, tilt and zoom functions of certain PTZ dome cameras attached to the DVR.
Search and playback is quick and easy with VCR-style ff, rewind and playback controls, and a user-friendly OSD offering programming in several languages.
