Littlite 18X-4-LED Reviews
Reliable and Convenient

I have had mixed opinion of littlelites over the years, My dissatisfaction has been with the old incandescent ones, which I found experienced frequent lamp burnout & required constant repair. Contrast this with the led lites, which I have had on a couple of light boards recently. That experience has been one of convenience and reliability. So much so, that I purchased this one to accompany my sound mixer. I have not been disappointed by it.

This thing is smooth. No hot spots. Not too cool thanks to the extra red LED. And not too brown. I'll only buy Littlite. Period

I don't understand what powers this light--is it the phantom power from the mic preamp? But phantom is 48v, and this light is 12v. Can I just plug this into an XLR input on any mixer and expect it to work? Please ehm... illuminate. Thanks.
This will receive power through the 4 pin XLR cable and the system needs to wired to accomodate this. This will not connect to a standard XLR.
