D&K SE1403 Reviews
The best press for everything!
This is my 2nd 210M press and I can say that this model is the best press I've ever used. the large work area is great for lots of different applications including Comic Book pressing and apparel transfers.
Worth the Money
I resisted buying this because of the price and that fact that it was going to be an occasional use. I printed a 13x39 photo and mounted it my usual way, with double sided adhesive paper. Tedious and time consuming. The photo lifted off in the center with a large 2 inch patch five days after the mount. This precipitated the purchase of the 210M Dry Mount. What a good decision. It takes a 90 seconds to mount the same photo, quick, easy, no mess. The unit heats up quickly and it done in no time. I view the mount like a tool. You don't use tools all the time but when you need it, it's there. I should have bought it a year ago. D & K also has excellent technical service.
Love This Machine!!
Just finished my first Arts and Craft Show, wish was a Success. The Dry Mount Press was fantastic! For two days the machine got a great work out. The photos on the Mount Boards were so impressive. When compared with professionally done prints with mine you could not tell the difference. Buy this machine if you are a serious photographer who loves to prepare the photos for display. Just what I needed!
I use this to attach my black & white prints to mat board for framing. It does a great job and my prints are nice and flat.
Workhorse
This dry mounting press has been around for many years, in other incarnations (Bienfang, Seal...). The D&K product is still the solid, dependable workhorse that will give good service whether in a framing shop or for an amateur photographer who wants to display their work. It costs, after all, less than a good mirrorless body...
Excellent quality
Works great. Wish it were less costly.
