This is a Universal Glass Negative Carrier, it is made for working with up to 6 x 9cm medium format film stock. It is a round sandwich glass rotating type made for the Beseler 23C series enlargers.
Note:
For film sizes smaller than 6 x 9cm customer can adjust opening with masking tape
