This high resolution is maintained even when activating the camera's digital magnification to zoom in on a subject.
Simultaneous MPEG-4 and MJPEG Video Streaming
This allows a user to view live video in the efficient MPEG-4 format while recording is taking place in the higher resolution MJPEG format. A user can also choose one over the other to suit a particular network environment.
Day/Night Function
To ensure the best possible video quality day or night, this camera auto switches from color to an ultra sensitive B/W mode when light levels fall. Switching between modes can also be done manually.
SD Memory Card Slot
In the event of network down time, the camera will store images to an optional SD Memory up to 1GB in capacity. These images will auto transfer to an FTP server once the network is restored.
Multi-Camera Viewing
A single browser supports up to 8 cameras, with a user able to view up to 4 moving images on one screen in groups of two.
Multi-Client Access with Password Protection
Up to 16 clients can access the camera simultaneously over the network for viewing and control, with an elaborate password protection system determining the level of access for general users and administrators.
Image Stabilizer
A built-in image stabilizer auto corrects shaky images, allowing the camera to be installed in areas prone to high frequency vibrations such as train stations, highway overpasses or airport hubs.
Auto Back Focus
ABF ensures that images remain sharply focused all the time especially when the camera switches from color to B/W mode which is a vulnerable moment due to the shift in the IR cut filter.
Scene Change Detector
A built-in scene change detector will alert a user to camera tampering, such as the lens being spray painted or otherwise covered or if the camera is moved.
Motion Detector with Email Notification
A built-in motion detector will activate an alarm when movement is sensed. Motion detection is fully programmable for area, sensitivity and direction. At the event of an alarm, an Email notification is sent to a designated Internet address. Email subject lines can be up to 50 characters with the mail body itself supporting up to 200 characters. An alarm event can also be used to activate external devices or to trigger recording to Panasonic's WJ-ND300 Network Disk Recorder

Super High Resolution NTSC Video Output Port
In addition to its network interface, this camera features a standard NTSC video monitor output, allowing service personnel to attach a handheld monitor and make on-site camera and lens adjustments. Incredibly, this monitor output supports 600 TV lines of resolution in color and 780 lines in B/W mode.
