Holds most LDCs

I use several of these to carry most of my mics. The padding is not great, so I wrap them in clean microfiber cloths for padding/protection and then place them inside the bag. Each bag can hold 2-4 SDC's, 2 compact LDC's (Gefell 930/940/950), or one normal sized LDC. I had my first one break (zipper handle itself broke in half) after about 4 years of regular use, but that can be repaired.

what is the interior dimension?

I have two of these pouches for my Videomic Pros. Like others have mentioned, it's a tight fit but does work with the standard Videomic Pro; I don't know about the Rycote Lyre Shockmount model, as I don't own that version.

How do you remove the smell? This item arrived smelling strongly like cheap vinyl, a strong gas odor. Wiping with vinegar or alcohol does nothing to improve it.

Not really sure. Maybe try letting it dry out for awhile. Also try putting a dryer sheet inside of it.
