Think Twice before getting this - Not User friendly
This hunk of steel has been such a royal pain. It is too heavy and too much of a hassle to return so I'm stuck with it. I had great plans for this item. I thought there was a decent thread on it or some way to remove the coupler on top so I can put a Kupo Baby 5/8th receiver adapter or something on top of it so I can insert a light post/stud out of it or a post with a 3/8th or 1/4th thread. For the life of me, I cannot take the thing extra-wide steel attachment off, its welded and fixed on top there. For the love of God why? I ordered 4 times, 4 separate orders work-around attachments that have all failed, such as threaded studs and posts to screw inside the female 5/8th thread.. so I can have something for a Kupo baby 5/8th receiver or something to attach on top. I ended up ordering a double-studded 5/8th threaded bolt and waiting for it to arrive. Hopefully, it works and I can use this stand to mount a PTZ camera on top or maybe just a light like it was intended for. Mercy alive. Otherwise, this is the largest door stopper ever.
Great multi-use stand
Great for projectors to get them up high over people's heads. Buying my 2nd one today.
