    Crucial CT25664AC667 reviews

2GB SO-DIMM Memory for Notebook is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 346.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not much change in performance Upgraded the RAM on my Asus Eee 1000 from 1GB Ram to 2 GB, because the computer intermittently became very S--L--O--W. While running Windows XP, this occurred whether one or several windows open. Performing regular disk cleanup and defrag helped but only for a very short time. In-store install went very smoothly and took only 30 minutes as promised. Thought the RAM upgrade would help more but not much noticeable change. Perhaps the processor (Atom N250) just is not designed for Windows, and I plan to reinstall Linux (I hated to change from Linux to XP, but one work application would not run on Linux).

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Product will NOT work in an ACER AO751h I purchased this product because is was advertised to be compatible with the Acer AO751h NetBook computer. When I install this product (2GB, 200-pin SODIMM, DDR2 PC2-5300) into my Acer NetBook I only got/get a "black" screen. When I reinstall the original 1GB memory module back into the NetBook it boots and work just fine. The computer never boots past a black screen with the Crucial 2GB, 200-pin SODIMM, DDR2 PC2-5300. I have installed the latest BIOS that Acer has out but to no avail. The NetBook still will not recognize and boot with the crucial 2GB, 200-pin SODIMM, DDR2 PC2-5300 onboard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everything as promised I use it on a Dell Inspiron 9400 (A.K.A. E1705) and it solved a lot of problems I previously had when I had multiple windows open. Originally Dell said you could put 4G of Ram in a 9400/E1705, then they changed it in their online manual to Max 2G. Don't buy Dell's attempt at getting you to purchase a 4G capable machine. 4G works just fine in a Dell Inspiron 9400 or E1705

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for EEE PC Does what it's supposed to. Cheap. Easy to install. Works perfectly. Note: EEE PC's and most other netbooks only have one SODIMM slot, so you must remove the 1GB module it comes with and install a 2GB one in order to end up with 2GB.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dell 1520 & Vista Ultimate Vista Never worked so well. Now flawless with 4 GB of ram to use with Vista Ultimate and Adobe software like Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Problem with product This was a RAM upgrade specifically recommended for my laptop by Crucial. The laptop will not boot up, however, with this RAM in it. The old RAM works fine. The new RAM, in a matched pair, does not. Online helps talk about RAM timings, BIOS upgrades, etc. I tried the BIOS upgrade but it didn't help. RAM timings should not be an issue since this was the RAM specifically recommended by Crucial for my laptop.
