The 200GB G-RAID mini Triple Interface Portable Hard Drive from G-Technology is a high-capacity portable RAID that features two 7200rpm drives striped together in a hardware RAID 0 configuration and an interface that allows it to be connected via FireWire-800, FireWire-400, or USB 2.0.

The drive is housed in a durable titanium external casing that features a small and quiet fan for cooling. The drive features a portable design and form factor that will match your MacBook Pro perfectly. It delivers transfer rates fast enough to play back multiple streams of high-definition video simultaneously, making it an ideal solution for editing on the go. The drive will also perform perfectly in high-resolution imaging, data backup, or general storage applications.

Portable Design
The array combines the speed of a RAID 0 drive configuration with the portability of an external notebook hard drive. It features two 2.5" SATA drives striped together. The G-RAID mini is powered by your notebook via FireWire or USB, eliminating the need for an external power source. An AC power supply is included for notebooks that cannot provide enough power to run the drive.
200GB Capacity
200GB of capacity allows for storage of approximately 15 hours of uncompressed DV digital video, the equivalent of 42 4.7 GB DVD video discs, or up to 50,000 MP3 files.
Multiple Stream Playback
The G-RAID2 can play back up to seven DV25 video streams simultaneously in real time, allowing you amazing flexibility when working with your video. It also supports simultaneous playback of four HDV, three DVCPRO HD, two 8-bit SD, or one 10-bit SD stream.
SATA II Drives
G-Technology exclusively uses 7200rpm SATA II drives with 8MB cache in their enclosures, leaving no doubt that you will be receiving a quality drive in the enclosure.
Triple Interface
The drive easily connects to any computer with a FireWire-400, FireWire-800, or USB 2.0 interface; this makes it easy to add to a variety of laptops.
Quiet Operation
The single fan used for cooling reduces noise, helping to make your workspace a more pleasant place to spend time.
Hot-Swappable
The drive is hot-swappable and plug-and-play, so there is no need to turn off your computer while connecting or disconnecting it.
