The Meade LXD75 Mount and Tripod with AutoStar Controller is a German-type equatorial support for the LXD75 series of Schmidt-Newtonian telescopes, but can of course accept many different optical tube assemblies. The mount's quite sturdy, and absorbs the shocks and vibrations that hinder the celestial viewing experience. It has adjustable height, and the AutoStar system provides 9-speed drive control for precise motorized positioning.
