The Pelco PS20 is a medium-duty scanner designed to provide motorized panning capabilities for any fixed security camera. Panning speeds can be set for 3, 6 or 12° per second, with a specially designed motor ensuring reliable and quiet operation.
Depending on the application, this unit can be programmed at the time of installation for auto or random scanning and unlike most PTZ cameras, this unit will scan past 360° to 380° before turning back in order to eliminate blind spots. When used with a Pelco MPTAZ controller, an operator can also manually operate the scanner in addition to any programmable functions.
Ruggedly constructed and completely sealed, this unit is suitable for indoor or outdoor applications and is capable of operating under the combined weight of a camera, lens and housing of up to thirty-five pounds. This scanner can be installed on any flat surface in an upright or inverted position, with various hardware accessories available for ceiling, wall, pedestal or pole mounting. The Pelco PSWM wall mount is designed specifically for this unit.
