The VEGA from Ketron is a 61-key arranger workstation keyboard based on the XD9, but modified to meet the needs of the musician who plays oriental music. Perfect for live applications, the VEGA's intuitive interface provides fast access to the features you need, displaying vital information on the backlit display. One particularly handy aspect of the interface is the oriental scale converter, which provides 12 buttons for direct access to oriental scaling.
Ketron's powerful sound engine supplies a wide range of preinstalled voices and percussion sounds, including 27 high-quality oriental sounds, over 450 oriental percussions, and 45 live oriental styles. Optional expansion boards are also available to strengthen your library. The VEGA also offers excellent arranger functions, with four arrangers per style, each with multiple intros, fills, and endings, providing you with excellent accompaniment automatically.
The VEGA has excellent connectivity, with two MIDI inputs, MIDI out and thru connectors, a 1/4" microphone input and output, 1/4" audio outputs, a computer interface, and an optional video output. Sustain and volume pedal inputs are also included, along with a footswitch connector that supports an optional six or 13-switch unit.
