Rated 3 out of 5 by from A Good Product and a Good Price I'm using this turntable to transfer my own and parents 33-1/3 and 45 RPM vinyl records into iTunes, then into CD's. So far I've done 4-5 albums and it went well with one exception: the software that comes with the turntable does not transfer the info (I input about the record/album) to iTunes as advertised. The concept of the software is at the end of recording, you are to input the Artist, Album Name, and Song Names, then it is supposed to convert the information and push it into iTunes. What I experienced was that the software didn't transfer any of the info and iTunes created several tracks with generic names. So, I had to go into iTunes and manually input the information again. BUMMER! So, what I'm doing now is skipping the software input and just doing it manually in iTunes. But, that's OK, I guess.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for price! Bought this to turn my Dad's old LPs into MP3s. Way better than any 3-in-1 (tape, Cd, Record) converter models. The software is a bit tricky, we had to look up other reviews online to figure out how exactly to get it to work. Once we figured out how to use audacity, it made the editing process easier to cut lag time before or after each song. Mp3s come out great but it's still record quality! If you want pristine CD quality, buy the CD! This product is completely worth the price for the quality brand!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for the home-Not so good for a Gig I bought this product to replace my old Audio Techinca Turntable that was having some issues. I chose this for two reasons: 1.) It had USB capabilities to put the vinyl on my computer, and 2.) the price was very reasonable. I like the turntable because it is light, and I can move it between my 2 stereos in my house. The turntable works very well for casual listening. I wouldn't recommend for an actual DJ though. It doesn't seem to have a very high quality, and I think the fact that it is belt driven is also a reason for DJs to stay away....I would recommend a direct drive for them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High Quality Results Skip the included MixMeister software (EZ Vinyl/Audio Converter); use Audacity instead. You can produce some very nice MP3s at 320 kbps in no time. Using Windows Vista, I could not monitor the record I was playing through my speakers with the MixMeister software, but Audacity proved to be powerful & flexible after just a few clicks in the preferences.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice for the price I bought this product to convert old LP records and make some Compact Discs. I couldn't get the software that came on the included disc to work on my older computer, but downloaded the most recent version of EZ Vinyl Tape Converter and it worked great. You do have to know how to change the audio settings in the program you are using, but that wasn't really a hassle, either. The sound quality is great, the quality of the unit is better than I expected. I seem to have a habit of accidentally hitting the 33 or 45rpm button, so I had to double check when transferring records without really listening to them as they played. Make sure the pitch control is set correctly, too. I wish it had a lever to raise and lower the stylus, would have paid a little more for that feature. The 1/8 input for a tape deck or other source would have been better on the rear of the unit instead of on the front top location. You will most likely have to buy an adapter for that input as well. The turntable does not come with a dust cover, but you can order a hard, clear plastic one or get a soft vinyl cover without spending a lot of cash. I am happy with this turntable and glad I bought it.
