Vortex is dedicated to the development and production of unique optics with features that allow you to see the world more clearly. Their commitment to supporting efforts in the important areas of land conservation, wildlife and field habitat keep them in tune with the environment and outdoor enthusiasts worldwide.

The Premium 3-9x40 Viper Riflescope offers X-Factor vision via high-quality XD optical glass with XR multicoating; incredible edge-to-edge image detail, with a minimum of distraction from glare or flare, refines your sight picture to an exacting standard. This Viper offers a very versatile level of magnification for hunters looking for a go-to all-purpose sighting system

Like all Viper riflescopes, this fine sighting system offers a cornucopia of features that will significantly enhance your next great outdoor adventure. The Precision-Glide Erector System with the Precision-Force Spring System ensures that your zero is easy to obtain, and that it stays put under recoil.

Although the refinements of the MAG-View Lever, pop-up turrets, and argon purging may seem to be minor, their importance becomes readily apparent when you catch that first glimpse of a trophy buck way up high on a distant ridge. Your sight picture will be crystal clear, and rich with previously unseen details. Adjusting for distance, windage, and elevation will become a seamless experience, putting you on target at any distance in a flash.

To use a riflescope with your firearm, you'll need a mounting base and mounting rings in addition to the scope itself. Bases attach to your firearm and rings attach to your scope. By affixing the scope mounted rings to the rifle mounted base you create a reliable, accurate, and secure sighting system. Proper spacing of the rings, as well as the ring height should be considered to ensure a proper line of sight can be established. This will maximize the value of your investment, and enhance your shooting experience. It should be noted that in many mounting applications, a professional gunsmith's skills will be needed for proper installation.
