Like all Viper riflescopes, this fine sighting system offers a cornucopia of features that will significantly enhance your next great outdoor adventure. Although the subtle refinements of the MAG-View Lever, pop-up turrets, and argon purging may seem to be minor - their importance becomes readily apparent when you catch that first glimpse of a trophy buck way up high on a distant ridge. The sight picture will be crystal clear and rich with previously unseen details. Adjusting for distance, windage, and elevation is now intuitive - and for the first time you're on target at any distance in a flash.

This Viper is configured with a V-Plex Wide reticle, a 30mm main-tube, side focus parallax correction, tall turrets, and a matte black finish.

A mounting base and rings are used to attach a riflescope to a firearm. A comfortable sight picture is contingent upon the height of the rings. A comfortable cheek-weld is the result of properly positioning the scope over the receiver. Mounting the scope close to the receiver is preferable, yet scopes with larger objectives need higher rings so the front bell can clear the barrel. It should be noted that in many mounting applications, a professional gunsmith's skills will be needed for proper installation.
