The SEBS2 Sennheiser Blimp System Kit consists of the MHZ 60-1 wind muff, which provides protection against wind noise, as well as the MZW 60-1 blimp rugged protective basket windshield and the MZS 20-1 combo mount/grip/stand. This microphone outdoor accessory system is designed to hold one ME 66, MKH 416, or MKH 60 microphone.

Combination shock mount, pistol grip and stand adapter for ME-66 and ME-67 as well as MKH Series Microphones

Required for mounting in MZW "blimp" windscreen.
May be boom or stand mounted. Requires MZA-216 adapter (included).
Includes interchangeable mike clips for MKH-416/MKH-816, or MKH-20 through MKH-70

Sennheiser MZW 60-1 Blimp Windscreen

The MZW 60-1 Blimp Windscreen from Sennheiser is for the ME66/MKH-416/MKH-60 shotgun microphones. This windscreen requires the MZS 20-1 shockmount/pistol grip and provides suppression of wind noise when used for outdoor applications. Length is 17" ( 44 cm).

Using this with the Sennheiser 416 is something I have done for years. I bought a Rykote and returned it because it was wimpy. This will set you back some bucks, but when you are doing professional work, you will not regret buying the best.

I use this blimp system along with the MKH-416 and couldn't be happier. The package has pretty much everything you need to battle the wind. Everything seems pretty durable and I expect to be using it for a very long time.

I'm looking for a new stand adapter for this set up...(the device that is actually holding the microphone..suspended )Does anyone know where I can find it..? (as a replacement item since I already have the blimp system)
