What are the dimensions of this backdrop in it's case? I need something I can get on a commercial airline.
Folded up in it's carrying case, it's radius is 34-36in and its about 4inches deep. I also store a soft box and flooring in the bags so mine is about 6in deep.

I bought one of these softbox/illuminated backgrounds a few years ago. Absolutely amazing but as one of the other reviewers mentioned, after a few short month the white translucent front starts to turn a yellowish/red and become a pain for post edit. Is there anything I can clean the front translucent front material with to get it back to white??
I have the same problem and it's preventing me from buying another one. Currently investigating alternative ways to create a white background for executive photography.

Does the 7x8 come with just 4 rods or 5 rods? How do you keep the long side from sagging?
The Manfrotto HiLite Illuminated Background (White, 7 x 8') has two metal frames that are built into the face of this product. The four included support rods span the two faces in the corners on the side of the background to keep each face equidistant from the other.

Unfortunately, the Lastolite Window Voile is only compatible with the 6 x 7 Hilite.
