The Pelco SD4-W1 is a high performance dome camera designed to provide effective security monitoring for commercial enterprises in a discreet and low profile manner. Despite its small stature, this camera incorporates many of the features and functions available on the full size models. It has a powerful 10x optical zoom, offers fast motorized pan and tilt speeds and can be programmed for 64 preset positions. This model has a pendant type mount and can be mounted on a pedestal, ceiling or wall using optional Pelco mounts.
Auto Protocol Detection
This camera supports Pelco P and D as well as Coaxitron control protocols and automatically detects the type of protocol required by the controller or DVR.
Proportional Pan & Tilt
Pan and tilt movement is operated in proportion to the camera's zoom position. This prevents images from "whizzing" by during a close up shot and from moving at a crawl when the camera is zoomed all the way out.
Auto Flip
Auto flip rotates the camera 180° during full tilt operation in order to keep a person or object passing directly beneath the dome displayed in the upright position.
Clear Dome
This model features a clear dome for maximum light transmission.
UTP Video Transmission Option
In addition to a standard BNC output, this camera features an integrated UTP video interface. This provides easy installation in building already wired with this common type of cabling.
