The Matrox DigiSuite platforms provide multiple 2D DVE processors, multiple channels of YUV color correction, independent transparency control on all layers, 32-bit animated graphics, two advanced chroma/luma keyers, a customizable wipe/tile generator, variable speed motion control, and perfect audio sync.

But the real beauty of the DigiSuite architecture is that all these advanced realtime features can be applied to each layer independently, all are available simultaneously, and there are no data rate limitations, repeat field transitions, or other common quality compromises.

Read and write DigiSuite compatible files without having DigiSuite hardware in the system. Facilitate media sharing over a network of editors, graphic artists, and animators. Only the editing station requires DigiSuite hardware for capture and realtime online finishing. Other stations can access material stored on the main editing station, manipulate it without making a local copy, and feed it back without interrupting the edit session.

See your video paint, compositing, and animation work directly on a broadcast video monitor from within most popular third-party applications including Adobe After Effects, discreet 3ds max, and NewTek LightWave 3D. Ensure proper 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratio in NTSC or PAL. Check for exact color temperature, safe-title area, and any interlaced artifacts that may be present in the image.

Matrox DigiTools is an application designed to let you take advantage of DigiSuite's professional features in a DDR-like environment. Capture and playback up to uncompressed-quality video. Frame-accurate machine control for capture, print-to-tape, and sync play. Key of graphics and animations over live video. Automatic conversion of 32-bit TGA files to (and from) two standard AVI files - a 24-bit video file and an 8-bit matte (alpha) channel - to provide RGB-alpha animation support while maintaining VFW compatibility. Playlist sequences AVI files and plays them back seamlessly during print-to-tape and sync play
