Bushnell 10x42 Excursion Binocular & Travel Tunes for iPod/MP3 Player

The Excursion 10x42E binocular from Bushnell is aimed squarely at other premium Japanese companies' ~$300 42mm roof prism units. They are every bit as good optically, with a far more robust construction.  The center bridge employs elements from the incredibly tough but discontinued 42mm Elite binocular, a truly beloved instrument known for being able to take quite a few knocks.  

There isn't much not to like about these Excursions; they have excellent handling, construction, resolution, focusing speed and range... in short they are a bona fide winner. The spiffy case, comfy strap and tethered lenscaps included in the package are a nice touch.
