Olympus 780 Overview

The Olympus Stylus 780 Digital Camera is a sleek, weather resistant camera that incorporates a surprising 5x zoom lens with a capture resolution of 7.1 megapixels. It features Dual Image Stabilization, which effectively eliminates camera shake. This ensures that you can easily record those special moments where fast, spontaneous action is involved.

The TruePic III Image Processor at the heart of the Stylus 780 was originally developed for digital SLRs. It completely redefines point-and-shoot camera image quality by delivering true-to-life color, smoother edges and less noise than other cameras in its class.

The camera is also loaded with features to make shooting easy and fun. One of these is BrightCapture Technology which provides the ability to take great atmospheric shots, even in situations where very little light is available. It also makes it easier to frame shots, as the image displayed is around four times brighter than on a standard LCD. Shadow Adjustment Technology will also help you capture amazing detail, even in harsh lighting conditions.

Twenty-six scene modes are built into the camera to cover many common shooting situations including Candle, Sports and Underwater modes.

The camera also features internal memory of 18MB plus an xD-Picture Card slot that allows you to expand the memory to over 2GB, providing enough storage capacity for hundreds of images.
