Teranex ClearVue Monitoring System

The ClearVue Monitoring System from Teranex is a unique solution that allows broadcast and film professionals to switch from CRT monitors to LCD displays with all of the benefits of the former solution. This processor maps all incoming signals pixel by pixel and displays full-frame interlaced and progressive SD/HD-SDI signals. In essence, this processor will turn a native 1920 x 1200 LCD display into an SD/HD monitoring system with accurate color calibration.

This unit includes several proprietary algorithms that allow it to reproduce incoming signals with impressive accuracy, including PixelMotion Deinterlacing and Multi-Directional Diagonal Filtering. It can manage most analog and digital signals, including segmented frame (23.98 & 24SF) signals. This solution is based on the Silicon Optix Realta image-processing engine, which besides managing the functions of the solution also minimizes the size of the electronics in the device for a more compact and efficient piece of equipment. This solution also offers perfectly matched audio available on HDMI and SP/DIF (AES) inputs and outputs.

This solution is ideal for broadcast QC/ENG/EFP monitoring, edit-suite monitoring, and mobile production & satellite QC monitoring. Besides being a cost-effective alternative to CRT replacement, it also offers substantial savings in space and energy.
