The 2.1 MP Trail Sentry NV digital camera is easy to set up and operate. The four toggle switches on the cameras control panel allow the user not only to turn the unit on and off, but to switch from video to still, set the camera's delay time and set the unit to operate during the day or night only, or 24 hours a day. The digital camera is activated by motion, and it uses a passive infrared sensor to detect motion out to 45 feet. When a full color image is captured, it is stamped with the date and time and saved on a removable SD card. The images can then be downloaded to a computer for editing, saving or sharing with friends.
