Roland MV-8800 Overview

The Roland MV-8800 provides a total music production solution, offering beat creation, multitrack recording and mixing, mastering, and CD burning all in one integrated unit. By using a combination of hardware and software tools, the MV-8800 can offer ultimate power and flexibility to take your music from concept to final product.

The unit offers full drum machine capability with 16 velocity sensitive pads and a variety of drum kits, including the Roland TR-808 and TR-909. The MV-8800 also offers sampling and synth functions that can be edited and automated with the eight assignable sliders. A wide variety of instruments are included for song creation. Multitrack recording is made easy with an automated 24-channel stereo mixer.

Choose from a variety of vintage and modern effects to sweeten your tracks, and then use the wide arsenal of mastering tools, including parametric EQ, compressor, and limiter to create a CD using the built-in burner. A mouse is included with the MV-8800 to simplify your work process. If desired, a VGA monitor can be connected to supplement the built-in LCD.

The USB port allows data transfer between the MV-8800 and your computer.
Sampling and Synthesis
Full sampling and synthesizer functions can be edited and automated with the eight assignable sliders, or the supplied mouse.
Multitrack Recording
An automated 24-track stereo mixer makes multitrack recording a breeze.
Effects
A wide effects library, including reverb, chorus, flanger, echo, and more let you tweak your sound.
Mastering Tools
Mastering tools include a parametric EQ, multiband compressor, mastering limiter, enhancer, expander, and a soft-clip algorithm with output dithering.
Built-In CD Burner
The CD-R/RW drive lets you import files from your CD collection and create CDs of your finished work.
VGA Output
Connect an optional VGA monitor to supplement the backlit LCD.
