The R 909 Reference Series Speaker from Jamo is a floor-standing dipolar loudspeaker. This unit features an electro-dynamic, rather than an electrostatic design, to more faithfully reproduce bass.
This unit features (2) 15" woofers, a Seas magnesium midrange driver, and a customized Scan Speak Revelator tweeter. The drivers are mounted in a 43mm thick baffle that includes a unique multi-ply construction.
This unit is well suited for use with high-end amplifiers, although its high sensitivity of 89dB and a stable load at 4ohms means that you don't need a lot of power to achieve good results. However, it will handle more than 800 watts of peak power if needed.
