JBL's PRX525 Dual 15" 2-Way Self Powered Speaker/Monitor is an integral part of the PRX500 series. This speaker/monitor was designed specifically for reinforcement of music and speech.
At the core of this system is a proprietary DSP chip providing user selectable system EQ, protection, input sensitivity selection, crossover functionality, dynamic limiting and discrete component optimization. You also get dual 15" differential drive woofers and a 1.5" annular polymer compression diaphragm driver mounted to a 70 x 70° horn, all driven by a multichannel Crown International Class D amplifier.
This speaker is optimal when you're looking for a simple set-up. With minimal equipment you still get full bandwidth output at high levels. This speaker is very similar to the PRX515 but adds another woofer and an additional 24 pounds. But, by using the PRX525 you eliminate the need to carry an extra subwoofer.
