What can I say, I am impressed, I used them with my Marantz cd player, very clean and transparent, I was using my Canare interconnects which are fantastic but with a higher micro farad capacitance, so when I swapped the canare with the Mogami Gold it was exactly what my warm CD player needed. I moved the canare to the Rotel cd player which is more analytical and the canare shaved of the bit of leanest and added enough meat to make it more mellow sounding. Excellent Product.

I've used Mogami interconnects for several audio applications, and they have never disappointed me. You can spend a lot more money on audiophile cables, but I can't figure out why you'd want to do that.

I'm trying to connect a home pre-amp and external amp together. Are two of these what I need?

In most cases, you will need "two" for stereo. Although this is the most common type connector between a preamp and amp, it is best to first look and to see check what type connectors your systems actually uses. This can be found in the manual (online) or looking on the back of the modules them selves. Good luck!
